Application and study progress of inorganic salt high temperature phase change energy storage materials

Abstract:  Inorganic salt high temperature phase change energy storage technology is of great significance for the development and effective utilization of energy,and it has obvious advantages in solar thermal power generation,industrial process heat use,waste heat recovery and so on.The definition,applications and current development status of inorganic salt high temperature phase change energy storage materials in China and abroad were summarized,and the classification,performance,as well as the advantages and disadvantages of inorganic salt high temperature phase change energy storage materials were discussed in detail.The research achievements of NASA in Brayton engine solar thermal power generation circulating system for space station,DLR in solar thermal power generation system and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautic in solar thermal power engine were introduced.In addition,the development prospect of this field was also described.
