Abstract: Titanium tungsten powder (WO3/TiO2) as carrier for denitration(de-NOx) catalyst was prepared by impregnation  method with metatitanic acid as raw material through selecting four kinds of tungsten salt precursors, such as WO3,ATT, AMT,and APT. XRD,SEM(EDS),and BET measurements were used in the characterization and the activity of the sample was tested. Results indicated that the WO3/TiO2 prepared by AMT had small grain size, small lattice distortion, stable performance, the lowest particle conglomeration, relatively uniform morphology, uniform distribution of tungsten salt, and the largest specific surface area(the greater specific surface area in a range is useful for the activity of the catalyst). And catalyst prepared by it had the highest denitration activity, close to the imported products. Therefore,in comparison,AMT was the ideal tungsten salt precursor for preparing WO3/TiO2 powder.
