Abstract: During titanium white production with sulfuric acid process，the by-products，ferrous sulfate and waste acid are important factors，which restrain titanium industry′s development.There are three main types of raw material for sulfuric acid process：pure ilmenite concentrate，mixture of titanium ore and high-titanium slag，and pure high-titanium slag.The environment loads of titanium white production by sulfuric acid process with different types of raw material were studied.Results showed the process selecting pure high-titanium slag as raw material not only could reduce the environment impaction of by-products，but also could lower the acid and energy consumption，and its production environment is the best at the present stage.
