Abstract: Ammonium molybdate can be used as the precursor for molybdenum powder and molybdenum products.It is also widely applied in chemical reagents，catalysts，flame retardants，and drugs etc..Variety，production situation，and technology of ammonium molybdenum at home and abroad were briefly reviewed.Technical innovations，such as application of surfactants，improvement of vapor equipment，introduction of continuous crystallizer，adoption of cycle extraction-stripping method， and addition of lixiviating agent for the preparation technology of ammonium molybdate in recent years were introduced in detail.
