Abstract: Research progress in preparation methods of cuprous halide（CuX） inorganic materials was summarized，and the specific processes of preparation were discussed.This work offered feasible basis for the further research，development，and industrialization of green preparation technology of CuX.Meanwhile，introduction and discussion about the application of CuX in catalytic synthesis were made from the directions of oxidative carbonylation，radical addition， methoxylation，and cross-coupling reactions.
