Purification and utilization of industrial fluoride-containing waste gas

Abstract: <SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">Described the importance of purification and recycling of waste gas which contains fluorine in allusion to its sources and hazards,and systematically introduced its purification methods in industries,such as metallurgical and chemical.Compared water absorption,alkali absorption purification,and adsorption purification methods.Summarized the basic methods which recovers fluorine to by-produce hydrofluosilicic acid,fluorosilicates,and cryolite in phosphate fertilizer industry.Specially introduced new methods and processes which produces high value-added products (such as silica and anhydrous hydrogen fluoride) by purifying and recovering fluorine-containing waste gas and briefly introduced their reaction principles and process flows.Results showed that lay equal stress on purification,treatment and comprehensive utilization of fluorine-containing waste gas by technological innovation can realize win-win of controlling fluorine pollution and developing fluoride resources,and can promote sustainable development of environment-friendly and resource-conserving modern fluoride chemical industry.</SPAN>
