Abstract: The adsorption performance of a new type of adsorption material based on the fly ash and activated carbon as main contents was researched. The effect of it treating DMAC(N,N-dimethyl acetamide) contained wastewater was investigated by the single factor experiment. The optimum preparation conditions:the mass ratio of fly ash to activated carbon was 3∶1,sodium silicate dosage was 25%(mass fraction of sodium silicate accounts for total mass of fly ash, activated carbon, and sodium silicate), and the calcining temperature was 800 ℃.The optimum conditions of the new material treating the DMAC wastewater were: pH was 3,adsorbent dosage was 25 g/L,absorbing time was 40 min,and absorbing temperature was 30 ℃.The removal rate of CODCr reached 75.92% under the best conditions.
