Abstract: In order to improve the product quality and productivity of Chinese lithium hexafluorophosphate，the production processes of lithium ion battery，which is the key material for preparing lithium hexafluorophosphate electrolyte，were summarized.The comparison of lithium hexafluorophosphate production processes published on the website of the State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C. was made.The comparison results showed that China has made a breakthrough on the technology of lithium hexafluorophosphate crystal at present and has broken the international monopoly，which has laid a solid technical foundation for the output increase and cost reduction of China-made lithium hexafluorophosphate crystal product.
