Abstract: The lithium hexafluorophosphate with good performance is the key raw material of the  Li-ion power battery.Based on the requirement of the Li-ion power battery to the electrolyte salt，the influences of high quality lithium hexafluorophosphate with good performance on Li-ion power battery were analyzed.The chemical and physical properties of the lithium hexafluorophosphate from different suppliers（including Do-fluoride Chemicals Co.，Ltd.） in China and abroad were characterized by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry（ICP-MS），scanning electron microscope（SEM） and X-ray diffraction（XRD） etc.，and the prepared power batteries made in an eletrochemistry platform were compared.Results showed that lithium hexafluorophosphate from different suppliers，were various in purity，crystal shape，and particle size due to the differences of process control，and these differences will affect the quality and production control of electrolyte，which will finally affect the lithium ion battery′s cycle performance and discharge rate performance.
