Abstract: Based on the analysis of the distribution of boron mineral resources in China and abroad and the status of its pro- cessing and utilization，the difference between China′s and foreign boron industries was found from the aspects of resources，technology，scale，market，and innovation，and the problems faced by China′s boron industry were also discussed.In the case of resource，technology and scale，China′s boron industry should be developed to carry out structural adjustment and product upgrading based on innovation as the driving force and combined with the state strategic needs，so as to realize the boron industry′s sustainable development.
