Abstract: Mechanism of nitrobenzene wastewater treatment by iron-carbon microelectrolysis under different salinity conditions was studied. After a certain period of reaction of nitrobenzene wastewater treatment by iron-carbon microelectrolysis under different salinity conditions, samples are taken for nitrobenzene analysis to calculate its removal efficiency. Cu2+ and Cl- can increase nitrobenzene removal efficiency.Ca2+ does not have obvious impact on nitrobenzene removal efficiency.Cr6+ and PO43- can have a negative effect on nitrobenzene removal efficiency.Low SO42- concentration can enhance the degradation while high SO42- concentration can weaken the enhancement effect.Salinity affects nitrobenzene degradation seriously during iron-carbon microelectrolysis.
