Abstract: A review on the processing and application of brucite，hydromagnesite，and huntite resources was given.Histories，chemical composition，physical parameters，resource reserve，ore grade，production processing as well as applications（such as magnesium flame retardants，neutralizing agent，heavy metal ion removing agents，magnesium fertilizer，and feed?additives） of those resources were introduced respectively and their development in future was also prospected.
