New steam boiler technology for utilization of yellow phosphorus tail gas

Abstract: <SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">A new steam boiler technology for the utilization of yellow phosphorus tail gas was introduced.Yellow phosphorus tail gas has high calorific value because it contains high concentration of carbon monoxide.But due to the existence of impurities,such as phosphorus and sulfur,which are hard to be removed by purification,it is mostly used for heating up water and for drying raw materials,and thereby the utilization rate and value are both very low.A low pressure steam boiler structure in which the burning and evaporation heat transfer are separated was used in this new technology,as a result,the problem of equipment corrosion due to combustion of impurities was resolved,and it could provide stable steam for other working procedures in the factory.It was proved in real running that all the technical indexes reached the designed capabilities.Thus,the new technology realized energy-saving and emission-reduction,enhanced yellow phosphorus exhaust use value,and provided a new route for efficient utilization of yellow phosphorus exhausts.</SPAN>
