Abstract: <SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">ZnS:Cu luminescent powders were prepared by solvothermal method in the role of hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) as surfactant.Effects of usage of surfactant,amount-of-substance ratio of Zn to S,and doping amount of Cu2+on crystal form and photoluminescent properties of ZnS:Cu luminescent powders were investigated respectively.Synthesized product was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and fluorescence spectroscopy (PL).Results showed that with the decrease of amount-of-substance ratio of Zn to S the intensity of diffraction peak became stronger and degree of crystallinity was increased.But there was no obviously impact on crystal form with the other diversification conditions.Usage of surfactant,amount-of-substance ratio of Zn to S,and doping amount of Cu2+all had a certain influence on luminescence intensity.With the increase of amount-of-substance ratio of Zn to S,emission peak had obviously blue shift and intensity thereof was stronger.Simultaneously,with the increase of doping amount of Cu2+,luminescence intensity increased at first and then decreased,and when doping amount of Cu2+was 0.2% (amount-of-substance fraction),the luminescent effect was the best.Comparably,with the increased usage of surfactant the luminescence intensity significantly increased firstly,then gradually weakened,and when amount-of-substance ratio of CTAB to zinc was 100</SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ascii-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-hansi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">∶</SPAN><SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">2 the luminescent effect was the strongest.</SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ascii-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-hansi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"></SPAN>
