Technical improvement on preparation of lime milk by ball mill

Abstract: <SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">Preparation of lime milk in Sanhuan Branch of Yuntianhua International Chemical Co.,Ltd.adopted wet ball milling process.Plant was built and put into operation in 2007.In production process,it was found the particle size of slags in lime milk was large and large sized slags were easy to deposit in storage and transportation resulting in the blades of blender were buried and locked,pipes were congested in transportation,and process operation was difficult to carry out.In allusion to the existing problems,many technical measures,such as organizing to tackle pivotal technological problems,improving of process flow,adding lime milk grading equipment,optimizing size distribution of grinding balls,and strengthening quality management and control of quicklime.After implementation of those above measures,quality of lime milk prepared by ball milling was improved apparently;mass fraction of slags whose grain size less than 75 </SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: 宋体; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ascii-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-hansi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">μ</SPAN><SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">m in lime milk reached 90% and utilization rate of quicklime raw material was also greatly increased;and there nearly was no waste residue discharged and the existing problems were solved well. </SPAN>
