Abstract: <SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 1.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体">Titanium oxide film was deposited on the surface of magnesium-based alloy by spray hydrolysis deposition (SHD) method with tetraethyl titanate [Ti(C<SUB>2</SUB>H<SUB>5</SUB>O) <SUB>4</SUB>] solution as precursor.Performace of corrosion resistance of the film was studied by adopting simulated body fluid (SBF);presence of elements,morphology,and structure of the film before and after soaking in SBF were characterized by XRD,SEM,and EDS.Results showed that the amorphous Ti-O film could be prepared on the surface of magnesium-based alloy by SHD method,which film had a high activity,can rapidly induce the hydroxyapatite (HAP) to deposit on its surface and can improve corrosion resistance of magnesium alloy significantly at the same time.</SPAN>
