Abstract: To obtain composite material with low infrared emissivity and laser reflectivity,nano-composite ZAO/SmBO3 particles with good composite effect and with relatively low infrared emissivity and laser reflectivity were prepared by compounding aluminum zinc oxide (ZAO) onto the surface of samarium borate (SmBO3).ZAO-coated SmBO3 nano-composite powder was prepared by coprecipitation method. From the picture of SEM,it was found that the thickness of coating is about 250 nm.Influences of the factors, such as m(SmBO3)∶m(ZnO),concentration of HCl,and calcination temperature,on infrared emissivity and laser reflectivity during the coating process were investigated. Results showed that when m(SmBO3)∶m(ZnO)was 1.5∶[KG-*2]1,concentration of HCl was 0.4 mol/L,and calcination temperature was 650 ℃,the infrared emissivity and laser reflectivity were the lowest. The lowest infrared emissivity and laser reflectivity were 0.70 and 0.73%,respectively.
