Abstract: Adsorption removal of SO2 in flue gases by ZSM-5 molecular sieve was experimentally investigated, and its basic dynamical characteristics, effects of amount-of-substance ratio of Si to Al (Si/Al),temperature,and space velocity were further analyzed. Results showed that adsorption of SO2 with ZSM-5 molecular sieve accorded with Langmuir equation, belonging to physical monolayer adsorption. With ZSM-5 molecular sieve of n(Si)/n(Al)=38,under the conditions that temperature of 25 ℃,space velocity about 700 h-1,and volume fraction of SO2 in the inlet around 0.3%,the absorption time of saturation was 180 min,and the saturated adsorption capacity was 0.018 g/g.Under the conditions of lower temperature, smaller amount-of-substance ratio of Si to Al,and lower space velocity, adsorbing properties of ZSM-5 molecular sieve to SO2 was better.
