Abstract: There are many problems,such as low utilization rate of titanium,high consumption of sulfuric acid,difficult treatment to extra lagre amount of waste by-products of red gypsum and ferrous sulfate,and poor product quality,in production technology of titanium dioxide by sulfuric acid method in facing promulgation and implementation of Circular Economy Promotion Law of the People′s Republic of China.In allusion to above problems,corresponding solutions were put forward based on philosophy of circular economy:1）optimize raw materials and improve utilization rate of titanium;2）adopt advanced waste acid concentration and recovery technology to reduce consumption of sulfuric acid;3）convert red gypsum to excellent construction materials;4）utilize ferrous sulfate heptahydrate according to end-use,market radius,geographical region respectively;5）optimize product mix and improve product quality. 
