Abstract: Nano-sized calcium carbonate might to some extent substitute white carbon black in silicone adhesive stuffing.It is also the main raw material in production of silicone glass cement.However,there are still many problems existed in practical application of Chinese nano-sized calcium carbonate products in silicone adhesives.Ttypes and characteristics of nano-sized calcium carbonate used for silicone adhesives were introduced.Therefore,quality of nano-sized calcium carbonate products should be improved continuously throguh analyzing the actual feedback questions from silicone glass cement enterprises.Optimal solutions in terms of the current problems of production process and quality control etc.were summarized and put forward through practical application.
