Abstract: Nonuniformity phase catalyst Fe2O3-MnO2-TiO2/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was prepared by multiple impregnating calcination procedure with γ-Al2O3 as catalyst carrier, and properties of its surface structure were characterized by BET,XRD,and XRF.Catalytic activity of the prepared catalyst was investigated by catalytic wet oxidation (CWAO) of azo wastewater, which was simulated by methyl orange solution,at low temperature (60 ℃) and atmospheric pressure. Results showed that Fe2O3-MnO2-TiO2/γ-Al2O3 catalyst had excellent catalytic activity in CWAO process. For artificial azo wastewater of methyl orange, more than 85% of COD was removed after 1.5 h of oxidation at 20 g/L Fe2O3-MnO2-TiO2/γ-Al2O3 and 200 mL/L aeration quantity.
