Study on synthesis of high performance zinc molybdate/basic zinc molybdate micro-powder

Abstract: A new technology for synthesis of high-performance zinc molybdate/basic zinc molybdate was discussed.The structure,morphology,and element contents were characterized and analyzed by X-rays diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry.Synthetic process and conditions:molybdenum oxide and zinc oxide were reacted for 30 min at 30 ℃ in ethanol solution.Then,the precipitate was filtered and dried at 110 ℃.At last,zinc molybdate/basic zinc molybdate was synthesized by the program temperature control.This technology possessed the advantages of greatly shortened the synthesis time and saved electricity,and zinc molybdenum acid/basic zinc molybdate yield could reach over 94%.
